RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Resolution AR2025-11-01 Giving Notice and Setting Regular Meeting Dates for the Local Advisory Council for Calendar Year 2026.
BACKGROUND:
The Utah Public Transit District Act requires the UTA Local Advisory Council meet at least quarterly with the Authority’s Board of Trustees in a meeting open to the public for comment to discuss the service, operations, and any concerns with the public transit district operations and functionality.
DISCUSSION:
Open meetings laws require a regular schedule of meetings be publicly noticed annually. The following dates are proposed for meetings of the Local Advisory Council in 2026:
Wednesday, February 18, 2026
Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Wednesday, August 26, 2026
Wednesday, November 4, 2026
All meetings will be held at UTA FrontLines Headquarters and begin at 11:00 a.m.
