RECOMMENDATION:
Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute contract 25-03987 and associated disbursements with CareATC, Inc. for a base term of three (3) years and two (2) option years for a total contract period extending from March 26, 2026 through February 28, 2031, in the not-to-exceed amount of $11,997,709.88.
BACKGROUND:
UTA completed the RFP process in fall 2025 to reprocure onsite health and wellness clinic services. As a result of this process, the Evaluation Committee selected CareATC as the vendor to continue providing these services beginning March 26, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
This contract provides onsite health and wellness services for administrative and Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) represented bargaining unit employees through the onsite clinics.
The contract is for a base term of three years, from March 26, 2026, through February 28, 2029, with the option to extend the base term for up to two additional one-year periods, from March 1, 2029 through February 28, 2031, for a total contract period of five years.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The costs for the current year are programmed in the approved 2026 Operating Budget. The costs for remaining years of the contract will be factored into the respective years’ Operating Budget (Account 1.20394).
