RECOMMENDATION:
Review of the new UTA Employee Handbook, which consolidates People, Finance, Safety, and Information Technology policies applicable to all UTA employees into a single, comprehensive document.

BACKGROUND:
UTA staff have been working on updates to UTA’s Administrative policies to ensure they are accurate and compliant. Policies applicable to all UTA employees have been combined into a single, comprehensive document.

DISCUSSION:
The policies contained in the UTA Employee Handbook have been reviewed by the appropriate Chief Officer, Legal Counsel, and UTA’s Public Policy Analyst. UTA’s Executive Director will approve these policies after this review. The policies will then be updated on UTA’s intranet.

ALTERNATIVES:
If revised policies contained in the UTA Employee Handbook are not adopted, the current stand-alone policies will remain in effect.
