RECOMMENDATION:                                                                                                                       

Approve purchase order 22-03583BM with Landmark Companies and authorize the Executive Director to execute the purchase order and associated disbursements in the amount of $297,220.79.                     

BACKGROUND:                                                                                                                                 

UTA is currently working to improve system bus stops through various funding sources. This construction package was developed using the Salt Lake County 4th Quarter sales tax funding. The contractor was procured through the State Contract via Gordian. An independent cost estimate was developed to verify fair and reasonable pricing.

DISCUSSION:                                                                                                                                      

UTA Staff is requesting approval of purchase order #223583 with Landmark Companies to construct 23 bus stops in Salt Lake County. The scope of work includes concrete flatwork, curbing, curb walls, and associated landscaping.
