Approve Resolution CR2026-07-03 appointing the Vice Chair of the Commission
BACKGROUND:
The Public Transit District Act (“the Act”) and proposed UTA Bylaws stipulate that the Transit Commission of the Utah Transit Authority (“the Commission”) appoint a Vice Chair from among the Commissioners to act in the Chair’s absence.
DISCUSSION:
Commissioners may nominate, discuss, and vote on which Commissioner should be appointed as Vice Chair of the Commission. The appointed Vice Chair would serve in that capacity until replaced by resolution of the Commission or until his or her term as Commissioner expires.
