RECOMMENDATION:
Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute the Purchase Order 17464 and associated disbursements under a State of Utah contract MA3939 with Landmark Companies, Inc. for the installation of a prefabricated restroom at the West Jordan City Center Station in the not-to-exceed amount of $851,326.99.
BACKGROUND:
UTA is committed to providing operator restrooms along the light rail system through the Systems Restroom project. This new facility will provide the Operators with a break room, a standard restroom, ADA-compliant restroom, and utility closet at the West Jordan City Center Station.
DISCUSSION:
UTA is requesting the approval of Purchase Order 17464 to install a prefabricated 26’ X 11’4” X 7’4” facility from Landmark Companies, Inc. at the West Jordan City Center Station in the amount of $851,326.99. Landmark Companies is also responsible for utility connections and site work as identified in State Work Order 129775.00.

ALTERNATIVES:
Disapprove contract. Capital Services will halt construction of operator restrooms and use the approved 2025 budget to progress design work only.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This contract allocates $851,326.99 of the $2,245,000 2025 Capital Budget for the Systems Restrooms project (SGR409) After the encumbrance of PO #17464, capital project SGR409-System Restrooms has $658,000 remaining in the 2025 Budget.
