BACKGROUND:
Video Security is a vital program for UTA internal and external stakeholders. The Video Security Department is currently a two-man team which handles daily video requests averaging 360 requests per month. Videos are requested from more than 5,000 cameras on the UTA video system.
DISCUSSION:
Video Security staff will give an update on accomplishments made in 2022 and will discuss the projects and goals coming up in 2023, such as an overhaul of current bus, TRAX, and FrontRunner camera systems. Performing the overhaul projects will improve UTA’s growing system of cameras that safeguard our fleet as well as enhance safety for patrons and employees.
