RECOMMENDATION:                                                                                                                       

Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute Purchase Order 17526 and associated disbursements under State of Utah Contract MA3916 with Calvin L. Wadsworth Construction Company, LLC (Cal Wadsworth) in the not-to-exceed amount of $618,552.86.                     

BACKGROUND:                                                                                                                                 

UTA is committed to providing operator restrooms through the Systems Restroom project. This new facility will provide the Operators with a break room, standard restroom, ADA-compliant restroom, and utility closet at Millcreek Station.

DISCUSSION:                                                                                                                                      

UTA is requesting the approval of Purchase Order 17526 to install a prefabricated facility from Cal Wadsworth Construction at Millcreek Station in the amount of $618,552.86. Cal Wadsworth Construction will also be responsible for obtaining permits, traffic control, utility connections and site work.
