RECOMMENDATION:
Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute the 2025/26 Ski Bus Pass Agreement with Snowbasin Resort LLC.
BACKGROUND:
Snowbasin Resort LLC (“Snowbasin”) operates a ski resort situated in Ogden Valley and wishes to participate in UTA’s pass program. UTA has partnered with Snowbasin in the past and both parties desire to enter into another agreement for the 2025/26 ski season.
DISCUSSION:
Under this agreement, Snowbasin will pay for each trip taken by its authorized users using the base one-way ski fare, discounted twenty (20) percent. Trip count will be determined by UTA’s electronic fare card (“EFC”) data from route 675. The estimated value of this contract is $86,516 based on last year’s ridership.
