UTA Financial Forecast Introduction
end

AGENDA ITEM TYPE:
Discussion

RECOMMENDATION:
Informational report for discussion

BACKGROUND:
UTA’s long-term financial planning process provides a structured framework for evaluating the agency’s future financial position and supporting informed policy and investment decisions. The process integrates operating and capital forecasts, anticipated revenues, expenditure trends, service plans, capital needs, debt obligations, and other key financial assumptions over a 10-year horizon.

DISCUSSION:
This discussion will introduce the Transit Commission to UTA’s approach to long-range financial planning, including how the plan is developed, the assumptions and information used, how frequently it is updated, and how it supports decisions regarding financial sustainability, service delivery, and capital investment. The current 10-year forecast will be used to illustrate the process and UTA’s projected financial outlook.
