RECOMMENDATION:
Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute the contract and associated disbursements with Paulsen Construction LLC in the amount of $7,266,150.78 to remodel Jordan River Building #2.

BACKGROUND:
Jordan River Building #2 is an existing building owned by UTA. It has been mostly vacant and has recently been used as overflow warehouse space. This project will remodel the building and improve the site surrounding the building for use as office, storage, and maintenance areas for the maintenance of way (MOW) group.

DISCUSSION:
UTA issued an RFP for the award of a construction contractor. Paulsen Construction was selected on a best value basis. This contract for Paulsen Construction is to remodel the existing Jordan River 2 building and provide site improvements surrounding the building.
