RECOMMENDATION:
Approve and authorize the Executive Director to enter into an Education Pass Agreement with Weber State University.

BACKGROUND:
UTA and Weber State University (Weber State) are longstanding partners dedicated to providing alternative transit solutions to the institution’s students, faculty and staff. In the spirit of this partnership, the parties entered into a one year agreement in 2025. On July 31st, 2026, UTA’s Education Pass Agreement with Weber State will expire. Both Weber State and UTA wish to renew a contract to provide transit passes to the university’s students, faculty and staff.

DISCUSSION:
In the spirit of partnership, staff propose that Weber State and UTA sign a two (2) year Education Pass Agreement. This agreement will give all students, faculty and staff authorized users access to premium transit. The value of this contract is $1,464,626 and is based on historical usage data and estimated future ridership.
