BACKGROUND:
The Transit Commission receives public correspondence through the email address transitcommission@rideuta.com. The information provided is a brief overview of the procedures in place to respond to, direct, and preserve that correspondence.
DISCUSSION:
Transit Commission support staff will assess to determine if emails contain general constituent questions or concerns, correspondence intended for individual Commissioners, or messages intended as public comment for Commission meetings. Commission support staff will respond to constituent emails and public comments on behalf of the Transit Commission. The attached document reviews the process staff will implement to manage incoming messages.
