RECOMMENDATION:
Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute the 2025/26 Ski Bus Pass Agreement with SMHG Management LLC/Powder Mountain.

BACKGROUND:
SMHG Management LLC/Powder Mountain (“Powder Mountain”) operates a ski resort situated in Ogden Valley and wishes to participate in UTA’s pass program. Utah Transit Authority (“UTA”) has partnered with Powder Mountain in the past and both parties desire to enter into another agreement for the 2025/26 ski season.

DISCUSSION:
Under this agreement, Powder Mountain will pay for each trip taken by its authorized users using the base one-way ski fare, discounted twenty percent (20%) and trip count will be determined by UTA’s automatic passenger counter (“APC”) data from route 674. The estimated value of this contract is $95,000 based on last year’s ridership.
