RECOMMENDATION:
Review proposed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for discussion and consultation in relation to Board Policy 3.1 - Advertising and Naming

BACKGROUND:
Board Policy 3.1 Advertising and Naming was recently updated and adopted by the Board of Trustees (Board) on October 11, 2023, after consultation with the Local Advisory Council in September.
In compliance with this policy, SOP OCM.01.01 Advertising Approval Process is being presented to the Board of Trustees for consultation.

DISCUSSION:
Board Policy 3.1 outlines the content of advertising permitted on UTA property and vehicles.
This new SOP provides advertising approval procedures consistent with Board Policy 3.1. This SOP's primary focus lies in the ad approval decision-making process.

ALTERNATIVES:
Through this consultation, the Board is being asked to provide feedback prior to adoption of this new SOP.
